Grand Knight’s Report

Greetings Brother Knights.

Here we are approaching November and you know what that means, TURKEY CHEER time. Yes, it’s fast approaching. Saturday Nov. 17th. to be exact. We will need members this year to help in the following manners. Set up parish hall on Friday evening the 16th. and at the event Saturday help with sewing the meal and cleanup afterwards. If unable to help, consider reserving a table with family and friends and enjoy a delicious turkey dinner and great prizes to be raffled off. Refer to Parish bulletin for meal prices and contacts for advance ticket sales. PLEASE let me know if any of you are able to help.

We had our October blood drive the 18th. and 41 units of whole blood was collected. Many thanks to our volunteers, Don Robey, Mike Melia, Roger Gagne, Frank Gautreau and Romeo Croteau.

It is not a normal thing to discuss politics in this forum, but the elections are coming up on Nov. 6th. and us voters will be casting ballots for candidates to the state Senate and House of Representatives as well as a choice of two candidates to represent us in the U.S. congress. I am not going to ask you for which candidate to congress to vote for but follow your conscience for one candidate is pro abortion and the other is pro life. Be informed.

The next planning meeting will be held at 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. Wed. Nov.7th. prior to our business meeting at 7:00 p.m. I urge all members if able, to attend both our planning and business meetings. your input is valuable.

Finally, GO RED SOX!

VIVAT JESUS
