Hello Brother Knights,
The leaves are turning beautiful colors and falling off the trees, that means that our Annual Turkey Cheer is just around the corner. I have talked to brother Knights John Costa and Chuck Curtis (the true pros at running this event) and Thank God they have again volunteered. Roger Levasseur will be cooking his great turkey dinner. He may need some help from Brother Knights, so let’s think about volunteering a few hours.
My Wife and I attended the state Ball in Rochester, where we turned in all the raffle tickets and monies. Thanks to Father Von and all our Brother Knights for selling the tickets after Mass. We totaled $723.00 worth of tickets. The drum held thousands of tickets and unbelievably my granddaughter Anna Dolan Won the thousand Dollar prize. She is a junior at UMass, Amherst.
I also attended the Quarterly meeting in Belmont, NH. In which our council #6902 won the prestigious Columbian Award. I am so proud to present this award at our November meeting.
I would like to thank all the brothers who helped at our Parish Picnic with the cooking and recruiting and Father Von for the shade. A good time was had by all. Thank You Theresa and Kathy for running this wonderful event.
The Knights, Council # 6902 send their heartfelt sympathies to the Melia Family and our great Financial secretary, Michael Melia on the passing of Mike’s Mother Jane Ellen Melia. God Rest Her soul.
Our Nov. 1, 2017 meeting. I hope to see as many brothers as possible at this meeting.
(LONG LIVE CHRIST)
Your Worthy Grand Knight,
