Greetings Brother Knights and welcome to our new fraternal year!

Let me begin by expressing a grateful Thank You to our past Grand Knight, Jim Dolan for his leadership of our council for the last four years. Please keep Jim and his wife Dorreen in your prayers as both are dealing with ongoing health issues.

On our agenda this year we are continuing to transition our newsletter as an attachment to e-mail addresses of our membership. If you have not submitted an e-mail address thus far, please do so A.S.A.P. This will help in keeping cost down of printing and postage expense. If you do not have a computer and wish to have a printed new letter sent to you, please notify Mike Melia or myself as to this matter A.S.A.P.

A new program by Supreme called “Faith In Action” has been implemented to bring our order more in line with quality, faith-filled programs via dynamic PARISH-BASED councils. More on this in future communications.

Congratulations to this years recipients of our scholarship awards, Derek Cook, grandson of Romeo and Jane Croteau and Peter Brodie, grandson of Phil & Jackie Blanchette The awards will be presented at our August meeting. Congratulations to both of these young men as they pursue a college education.

Please keep in your prayers Chuck Curtis, who is recuperating from heart surgery, and for the repose of the soul of Roger Robey, brother of our treasurer Don Robey.
